辨析pass 和past
pass和past皆为“路过” 之意，pass为及物动词，通常作谓语，后面可以带宾语；past为介词，通常用于walk, run , go等不及物动词后面，方可带宾语。试比较：
He was reading English when I walked past him.
＝He was reading English when I passed him.我路过他身边的时候，他正在读英语。
Jim was the first one to run past the finishing line.吉姆是第一个跑过终点线的人。
Jim was the first one to pass the finishing line. 吉姆是第一个通过终点线的人。
